Approach

Our approach with DEI includes a commitment to understand culture and its function in human behavior and society and commitment to recognizing the strengths that exists in all cultures. It includes a commitment to taking action against oppression, racism, discrimination and inequities and acknowledging privilege. Our approach with DEI includes a commitment to awareness and humility through self-reflection, recognizing people as experts in their own culture and dedication to lifelong learning.

We recognize that value of a defined set of values and principles, the capacity to value diversity, conducting self-assessment, managing the dynamics of difference, acquiring cultural knowledge, adapting to diversity and cultural contexts of communities and incorporating the values and capacities in all aspects of organizational policies, practices, administration, service deliveries while involving consumers, communities and stakeholders.
